You have to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and provide them with your username, date of birth and postal code and they'll apparently delete the account for you. That's not very user-friendly.
However, as one of our visitors pointed out, they're not too keen on responding. You might have to send them a few requests.
Publicly visible text/images often aren't properly deleted even when you succeed in deleting an account. Try editing or deleting them manually before deleting the account itself. If you're unsure what happens to your tracks you can always contact Spotify and ask personally. By the way, deletion requests don't necessarily mean your data will actually be deleted (e.g. due to legal obligations).
