Instructies voor het verwijderen van je Expedia account

In the account section, there is actually a link for 'account closure' ( https://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?qscr=acce ), but it doesn't work. Eh? Going there, we read "You have attempted to use functionality for which you do not have access." Then why create a fake deletion option? :)

If this link keeps malfunctioning, perhaps try and send them a deletion request using the webform (see below). Of course, choose 'account questions or comments'.

Since the status of account deletion is unclear, no black or white colour will be stamped on Expedia.

Reading pages on the web on the topic, it seems you will run into a giant organisation difficult to get in touch with (so-called 'industrial people-farms' focused on quantity - such as KPI's instead of quality - such as a happy customer). TIP goed om te weten

Zelfs als het lukt om je account op te heffen, worden publiek-toegankelijke teksten/afbeeldingen vaak niet verwijderd. Probeer ze handmatig te verwijderen voor je de account verwijdert. Eventueel kun je hierover contact opnemen met Expedia. Het komt overigens voor dat bepaalde gegevens worden bewaard omwille van juridische verplichtingen.

TIP Connecties via externe diensten verwijderen

Als je je bij Expedia aangemeld hebt via een externe dienst zoals Facebook of Twitter, dan wil je Expedia waarschijnlijk toegang tot je account ontzeggen. Klik op het icoon voor verdere uitleg.
