How to delete your Gmail account

About Gmail

Gmail is the email service that is offered by Google. Google was founded in 1998 and is considered one of the world’s largest technology companies. Gmail was launched in April 2004. The service was created by Paul Buchheit. It is available in over 105 languages. Gmail is written in Java (back-end), and JavaScript/Ajax (UI). Gmail currently has over 1.4 billion users worldwide. Gmail’s basic HTML version is available on all browsers. The advanced version is available on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and Safari. The Gmail mobile app is available on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) and Android devices. Google services are not available in China, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and almost all Arab countries.

Signing up for Gmail is simple. You will need to enter your first name, last name, desired username, and desired password. You may also be asked to confirm your date of birth, phone number, and alternate email address (in case you need to recover your email). Once you have created your email address, you will be able to log in. Your inbox will include all incoming emails. You can create folders and labels so that you can easily organize your Gmail account. There is a search box at the top of your inbox that will allow you to search through your boxes. Your Gmail can be customized. You can change the color and theme of your inbox, as well as add a personal signature that will be included in your emails. If you are taking a vacation and need your emails automatically answered, you can edit your settings to allow this as well. Gmail is always free and includes 15 GB of free storage. This storage is shared with Google Drive and Google+ Photos. If you would like to close your account, you can easily do so by following the deletion details that are included on this page.
