MyLife.com is a reputation site that allows people to search for someone’s name to find out information about that person. MyLife.com was founded by Jeffery Tinsley in 2002. The company is based in Los Angeles, California but also has an address in the United Kingdom.
MyLife.com focusses on providing people’s reputations. MyLife.com uses public record documents, reviews that people can leave, and social media posts to determine someone’s reputation score. These documents include items such as court documents, criminal records, liens and more. A reputation score between 0 and 5 is given, 0 is the lowest score and 5 is the best score. In addition to reputation, MyLife.com provides general information about people including present and past home addresses, birthday and age, the type of car a person owns, work history, family members, etc.
People can order a full background report on themselves or others. Before ordering the background report, MyLife.com makes the customer agree that he or she will not use this information to stalk or harass the person he or she is trying to research. MyLife.com offers four different payment plans. There is a 12-month plan for $5.95 a month (a one time charge of $71.90). There is a 6-month plan for $8.95 a month (a one time charge of $53.70). There is also a 3-month plan for $10.95 a month (a one time charge of $32.85). Finally, there is a 3 day trial (for a limited time) for $1. All of the plans include unlimited searching, unlimited access to other people’s reputations, and the ability to add reputation information to other people’s reputations.
