How to delete your Mate1 account

About Mate1

Mate1 is an online dating website. It was founded in 2003 in Montreal, Quebec. The company is currently still based in Quebec. The company provides dating services for single men and women, regardless of religion, preference, or race. The website currently has over 40 million users. There are over 30 million website viewers. The website is split up with 59% of female users and 41% male users. The current Chief Executive Officer is Elizabeth Wasserman.

The website is totally free for women, while men have to pay to message and chat. Creating an account is pretty simple. All you have to do is sign up and then create a profile with your personal details, as well as what you are looking for. Once you are finished creating a profile, you can search other members on the website and chat with them. Mate1 includes a matching system that is called “My Matches”, where you will be given a choice of members based on your preferences. You can click “Yes” or “No”. When you click “Yes”, you will be able to connect with your match.

Additionally, you can refind your matches by filtering them by age, location, photos, lifestyle, and background. There is also a flirt feature that allows you to flirt with other members. Another cool thing is the ability to set up a voice profile, allowing you to record a message for other members to hear when viewing your profile.

Women can utilize all features for free. There are no upgrade options available for female users but men can upgrade their basic memberships. Basic memberships allow you to search but you will not be able to message with the basic membership. Paid memberships are $29.95 per month or $69.90 for six months. If you have met someone on Mate1, you can easily cancel your account and remove your profile. Follow the steps on this page to cancel your subscription.

  9. My experience is no different than any of the the ones listed here, except a woman who I made contact with tried to scam me for money. I reported this under the system provided in the settings of Mate 1. I later discovered that this same woman was sign up on mate 1 with three (3) different profiles I reported this and she is still on this site it appears to me that she preys on lonely elderly men. She presently is using the user names: “Bjharlow”, “Rebeccaloveme”, and “Liztaylorlooka”. She uses the same phots on all three profiles. If she hooks up with you she will only text with you and she will also claim to be “deaf”. Contacting her will give you the problem of not only getting rid of her but also of trying to get your money back
from mate 1. I am sure that this site is set up to take money from people. I have found no way to directly communicate
    with a real person.

In that time I was scammed out of OVER a thousand dollars then I canceled my subscription because of unsatisfactory conditions
they DO NOT scan or check on clients It Is all about money and there scam
even after I canceled I was billed again for $145.64 for services no longer rendered & canceled prior
how do these companies get away with stealing money from people that think they are doing honest business
my attempts to contact them has been very unsusectfull
These people should be hung by the neck like they did in the old days for robbing a bank

  13. I dont know whether the people that run eDate , formerly Date1 are a bunch of deceitful Morons or just a pack of half wits but they have been sending me photos of old Grannys either in USA or thousands of Kilometres away here in Australia trying to entice me to pay money to join their useless organisation.
At the bottom of the emails their is a field to cancel/deactivate and after a great many unsuccessful attempts it stil has zero effect which i believe is intentional.
Do these Morons really believe that i will give them money so that they can keep sending me pictures of blokes or old boilers in a totally inaccessable location.
    Idiots.
