Vreemd genoeg kunt u uw Picasa-webaccount niet verwijderen zonder uw gehele Google-account te verwijderen, waaronder Gmail, Youtube en andere. Om alleen je Picasa-account te ontdoen, stelt Google het volgende voor: (Uit hun veelgestelde vragen, http://support.google.com/picasa/bin/answer.py?hl=nl&answer=49106): Meld u aan bij Picasa Webalbums op http://picasaweb.google.com met uw gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord van uw Google-account. Selecteer het album dat u wilt verwijderen. Selecteer in het menu Acties boven uw foto's Verwijderen album. Klik op OK om te bevestigen dat u het album wilt verwijderen. Herhaal deze stappen voor elk album in uw account dat u wilt verwijderen.
